Do your horses do weird stuff to amuse themselves?

My husband was concreting the yard and my boy was turned out. There was obviously a fence between the yard and the field but didn't realise what long necks horses have. My boy had got his head in the cement mixer as it was going round. His head was going round in time to the cement mixer. Thankfully we were there and could shoo him off. Apart from being a bit difficult to brush for a few days he was fine:D

Open and close the stable door (usually when you are trying to do the opposite with it!)
Grab her headcollar off the peg and chucking it at you if she wants to go out (has also done this with buckets or keys - whatever she can get hold of!)
When tacking her up and her rugs are on the stable door - she insists on putting them on the floor. Leaves them alone if hung anywhere else though!
Blows bubbles in her water bucket, dunks her face in the water over her nostrils and blows!

my gelding constantly opens other horses doors and its unfortunate enough that he can reach the bottom bolt too so we had to get him a drop bolt to stop her getting out :o

my stallion picks things up and moves them... hes actually very organised and he moved buckets and brushes etc to the wall so he has more space although his faviourite is picking up the body brush and brushing it up and down my back (weirdo). he also turns taps on, drinks from the horse then turns the tap back off as he prefers running water :o. he opens gates and doors if given the opportunity and he loves wandering arund with a trug on his head... special horse

Haha what a spesh!!! :D

Hmm. Removing things from grooming box / bags / anything else he can find, rolling the grooming box around the floor in order to empty it all at once, kneeling down / attempting to stand on his head when his feed bucket is empty, taking said feed bucket for walks around the yard if he's given the opportunity, wagging his tail, scoring goals with his Decahedron... in his water bucket. I could go on :o

There used to be a youngster on our old yard who played tug of war, he was brilliant!
