do your horses/ponies poop in one or two particlular places?

mine stay in the school bit and a strip down the side of the field due to the other half not in use as ive had it sprayed.

my horses seem to pooh and wee in 2 different places there,
even if they are at the bottom of the field they come up and do it then hang around a while then go back down the bottom.

just seems strange that they only do it there.

do any of yours do that?

Ours have several 'toilets' in the field, normally in the bits they consider to be not as good. Some of these areas have now gone a bit rank due to all the poo over the years - despite some poo picking and harrowing (very large field!)

Stallions sometimes just poo in one place in a big pile in their paddocks - makes it very easy to poo pick!!!

Yep, my youngsters do that too and I'm thankful. Makes the laborious job of pooh-picking so much simpler. Long my they carry on!

in the field he poo's in 2 piles as he was cut late and thinks he's a colt. in the stable he is a messy git

My mare has a corner in her field that she keeps it in. Great to poo pick. In the stable its anywhere really. Once in her water drinker. I happened to go up late and see that. If I hadnt she wouldnt have had any water. Silly girl. Hasnt done that since though.

the horse in the field next to me has a pattern of where she poo's......... i am envious as mine poo's anywhere and everywhere in his field!!! hehe

Yes the geldings all seem to be sticking to one area in their new field - makes it easier to poo pick!!

aww, wish we had a poo corner! lol Ours just tend to go where they're stood at the time, lazy sods wont walk to one particular place.

In the stable my daughter's gelding poos only in one corner at the front and it's not even on the bedding! So easy to muck out.

In his paddock most of the poos are in one area but there are one or two elsewhere usually. As he lives in every night we only poo pick the paddock once a week.

my girlie will always poo in a specific area, they are different almost every day...or the minute you have poo picked she will find a new one as far away as possible! one of the little ponies i help with poos right next to the muck heap fence...very helpful!
