Do Border Terrier puppies have their tails docked? Just wondering

Well my mates werent! And also some breeds only have them docked if there going to be working dogs! My aunties was docked (her dogs anyway

) because they were going to work her but then they decided to sell her! They do this because stuff gets stuck in the tail when hunting etc!

No way! As far as I know borders have never been docked as standard.
Docking is only allowed for hunt, point and retrieve dogs that are to be used for working purposes only. Vet should see proof that the dog will be used for working before docking.

No it's no longer permitted. Unless you can prove it is to be a working dog.
