This dog was rehomed by its owner and a week later found with its throat cut and stab wounds under its front legs. Please look at the article and if you live in Bradford keep an eye out for ''Jeff'' to whom it was rehomed. The dog survived thank-god. This hilights the need for proper checks for rehoming dogs by private owners. She looks a lovely dog

This is horrible and I very much hope Jeff is found.

I read the newspaper report and wonder what happened to his Collie.

The weird thing is that the people who rehomed the dog to him seem to have been quite well acquainted with him over a period of time (seems to be to have been a year) in the context of dog walking, and you would think they would have gained a very good impression in that time of the sort of home the dog would have, far better in fact than a homechecker for a rescue.

Has he done this to any other dogs and it has not come to light and when will he start on humans or has he already?

Hmm, how horrid and bizarre. I wonder if they know for definite the dog was attacked or whether it's managed to somehow have some accident to cause these injuries? I guess it's pretty obvious I suppose but it seems a very strange thing to do (although there seems to be some god awful, nasty 'humans' about these days). I hope they find the guy and discover what happened!
