Dobert bridles? ever heard of them? have i got a bargain?

so... was just scanning ebay, and ended up bidding on an item at the very last second... literally.

i quite fancy a new bridle. and i was bored. and it was there.

anyhoo, for 23quid (plus a fiver postage) i've just bought a

Dobert padded double bridle, with Dobert double reins (new)
HW cotton travel rug (used twice)
royston full fly mask

then, i googled 'dobert bridle' and it seems they sell for 150+...

is that right?!?! are they nice?!?!

woo hay! yippee! poor raff is in a mismatch of minging bridles at the moment. he's going to love it! fingers crossed it fits his random headshape... (think hamster cheeks)

YES DEFINATELY

Dobert bridles are lovely and they do retail for £100+. The leather is so soft and supple.

Mega bargain, I bought 2 off Ebay a while back, a snaffle for about £40 and a double for £80 and the leather is fantastic. The sizing on mines a bit out though, the snaffle fits fine, noseband on the small side but the double seems totally different and is stamped a full size but seems more cob size.
Hope it fits and well done for getting such a bargain.
