does anyone have one??

I'm hopefully going to view one on sunday. A two big horses facing forward with a small living.

its a 5.6t and has a 2.2 payload so sounds on paper as ideal.

I've had two in the past, and they were great, money now dictates that I have a towing vehicle and trailer, but I'd have another like a shot.

I have a Dodge 66 (6.6T) herringbone and I love it. Same lorry just a bit bigger. My 17.2 fitted in fine. It always drives really well.

The do rust quite a bit, but tends to be the cab and not important stuff that will fail an MOT. They go on forever and refuse to die, Massey Fergusson tractor parts fit them, so spares easy to get hold off. The engine is really noisy though as there is access to it thru the cab, so it is a bit hard to have a normal conversation.

They are like a big landrover to drive, no air brakes, normal handbrake. Even though it hasn't got powersteering it isn't heavy at all. Mine is a C reg though so the one you are looking at might be a bit more modern.

Had one and loved it. 2 horse rear facing. No problem with big horses, etc. just watch as they are a bit higher off the ground if the springs arent strong enough you can get a horrible rolling feeling around corners.

I've got one and I love it! Even I can drive it

. Looks a bit odd next to all the flash lorries though!

I have a c reg one, had some problems with steering wobble at first v scary, but OH found some wear in the steering rack (or something!), he replaced it with a power steering one from a fire engine (about £200 from the scrap yard). It is fab now and I have no problems driving it.

Mine will cary 2 horses or 3 ponies, coach built body, we refitted the living. The engine is agricultural but as others have said go on for ever, my cab is rusting a bit so will need some attention. I was hoping to get it resprayed (last winter) , hopefully will get it done this winter, or next winter, or the winter after..........
