My cob had long toes and flat soles when he came, never had laminitis though and didn't have the very stretched whiteline that yours has, but as I backed up his toes gradually over a few month, his soles became much more concave. Even now, if I don't keep on top of his toes his soles will start to flatten surprisingly quickly, so I have to trim them back every few weeks in the summer..
Your horse has a heck of a lot of foot in front of the tip of the frog, X rays would help your trimmer/farrier see not only if there was any rotation but also where the toes are actually supposed to be, would make trimming a bit more accurate.
He is stunning by the way, you've done a fantastic job on him, getting weight off is a nightmare, well done..
