My new lurcher is adorable. Recently spayed just starting lead walks so not eaten anything she shouldn’t have.
I’ve been warning her off butchers tripe and onto barking heads as I found it great with my last dog. She’s got an upset tummy now! Just what I was trying to avoid!

Don’t be too disheartened, 10 days isn’t long particularly if she has had a spay to recover from too. I’m not saying you were doing the wrong thing by any means, but maybe give her a couple of weeks to settle in then try again?

I know you can’t generalise, particularly with lurchers which could potentially be all sorts of mixes, but most of the lurchers I’ve had have tended to be more ‘delicate little flowers’ with digestion than ‘tough as old boots’

Now a million and one other posters will say exactly the opposite I’m sure 😂

Introduce your new feed slowly mixed with her butchers. She’s bound to be stressy - new home, post op.

Funny that, I’ve been starving for 24 hours for the last 30 years and it has always worked and never done any of mine any harm..... 🙄
That may well be true but it's not advised now. Completely up to you what you do but it's not the most up to date method.
