Following on to a conversation I'm having on another website at the moment......has anyone here found that their horse has had changes in attitude, for the worse, after being on this feed? Grumpiness, aggression, a reluctance to be touched, groomed or tacked up? On the other website a few people have reported that they've noticed negative changes in their horses after giving this feed for a month or longer, and that includes my own horse.

I'm going to give Dodson and Horrell a ring tomorrow and have a chat with them, I just wondered if anyone here has any other feedback on it.

Ive never had a problem with it... well except that one of my old horses doesn't like the round things and grass nuts and leaves them neatly in the bottom of his bowl!!

My 19yr old TB is on it, has been for about a year...and she's always sweet, smiley and sensible.
I only give her 3 handfuls morning and evening though....with some Speedibeet, so well below the recommended ration (because I'm cruel, obviously

I cant feed my 23 year old 16+ it's sends her insane.Well she's not the full ticket anyway but 16+ make's it 10 times worse. I feed her spillers pony cubes in the summer and conditioning cubes in the winter.
Let us no what they say.

You need a sensible, calm breed....like a TB.

My girl has been on 16+ for about 6 months now and she is fine on it, her normal self, not noticed any difference at all, she has 2 sccops a day (split between 2 feeds)

2 of ours are on it and they are both fine. the 12hh palomino has always been a grumpy mare since we had her and there has been no change at all. the 16hh old boy is all soppy and happy and undoing his stable door every day liek normal too

It certainly is, she is a little sweety but has a very determined personality!! we have lots of battles of wills but she's worth it

My 23 TBx mare goes a bit nutty on the 16+ mix but then she goes nutty on any type of mix! I changed to the 16+ nuts and she has been fine and has a fab coat since she has been on them
