Just a general enquiry, has anyone started their horse on dodson and horrell breathe free and it affect their behaviour?? It appears Since after a few days on it our pony is like a whole different pony! Constantly bucking, rearing and bronking which we never had before.
Tried checking all usual hooves etc for any kind of problem can't seem pin point the cause and only change we've made is the dodson and horrell breathe free, we only gave because she lived out 24/7 before we got her and now comes in at night but seemed have a little cough in morning

First of all I would never feed it since it contains garlic and garlic is poisonous to horses. It makes them anemic. Second of all- it has red clover in it. Red clover has phytoestrogens so perhaps it messes with her hormonal balance? Although my mare is currently on both alfalfa pellets and soy which both supposedly contain phytoestrogens in far greater amount than the D&D supplement ever would and is completely sane. Are you sure nothing else has changed? It's spring- maybe more sugar in the grass or something of you live so far down south that you actually have grass? (We still have 1.5 m of snow where I live 😅)
