Dodson & Horrell

hey

ive put my mare onto high fi lite and fiber cubes now, as told to on here, as she is very excitable, well she is on the dodson and horrell high fiber nuts, i was just woundering does this need soaked? my friend feeds hers fiber and she has to soak hers so i just thought i would ask if the dodson and horrell ones needed soaked?, i have been doing so as thought id be better being safe than sorry

I always feed damp, but not soaked per se.

I prefer this as I think both chaff and hi fi are a bit dry and dusty and are better damp.

i always add water to the feed anyway, was just woundering if its better for the cubes to be soaked for them to swell before i add in the rest of the feed and feed georgi
