Hi, finally settled on a Rhinestone Comfort from Equihunt (mid-price range but decent leather!) hasn't arrived yet but do I need to oil it at all before I use it?
Even the really good quality bridles ie Jeffries and Stubens, that I looked at at Chandlers seemed quite stiff.
Thanks very much

We don't oil new leatherwear we use 'Grand Prix Gloss'. It's a great leather conditioning cream that makes the leather supple & gives it a lovely deep sheen. We use it on saddles, bridles, martingales, boots even our leather suite. You can get it off ebay or the below website.

No, although you might like to use some leather balsam such a Effax or Hamanol.
