I own a 20 year old 14hh TBx mare. She had lami last summer but hasn't had it since. My point is that when I've tried advertised her for loan I hardly get any replies and when I do people are put off by her age :(. Shes still fit and well for her age and is good to do things with and a good ride. I'm worried that when I finish uni next year I may not have many options. My mum suggested I should send her to manchester for my brothers girlfriend to have on loan :( What should I do PLEASE help

My 21 year old is currently out on loan to a lovely family, but they came to me via word of mouth. I would talk to local PC, or instructors. Is she great to ride and do everything else with? My pony has also had lami, due to some previous muppety loan home, and their equally stupid vet, but he hasn't had it for 4/5 years, inspite of living out 24/7. His age has never been a problem, and he looks much younger. Maybe try anad with no age, and a good pic, and see if that changes things. As it is a loan, people are less likely to look at age, as they aren't thinking resale value.

Shes good to hack alone/ company. She loves to jump but havent jumped her in a while. She used to do pony club when she was younger with previous owners. She catches easily. Shes good to load, clip, farrier, vet and dentist! Bit fresh after clipping though.

I'm surprised she hasn't gone already then. Sounds very similar to mine, about the same size too. He went through a lady who had previosly shared him, to a client of a friend who was an instructor. There have been plenty of people on here saying they can't find a suitable loan, so people are wanting them.
