Odd i know, but iv'e always wondered. My 17hh has quite a small willy for his size, (although it doesnt stop him from having it hanging out all the time...typical man). I mean there was a 12hh stallion at the yard whos winky was 3 times as big!! it nearly touched the floor :O. And the other stallion whos 15.2 can put an elephant to shame, i didnt know willies could get that big! Furthermore a gelding my friend used to have didnt get his bits chopped off til he was 2 and he was also large in that department. So does getting the chop at an earlier age prevent big winkies??

I really don't know the answer to your question. However it is just as well horses don't read the forum posts or yours would become very shy! As a gelding as long as it does the peeing job for him size doesn't matter!!!!!

Interesting point! I've had three late cut (7, 12 and not certain, but not before he was 6) ginger geldings and they've all been well endowed in length and breadth compared to the two bay boys I've owned.

One of mine was gelded at 4 1/2, his is rather long, my section A,(gelded around 1yr has a small Willy and my other two have average willies(gelded at 2 and not sure on the other was but brought him at 3), my stallion does have a huge one lol and his brother's isn't far off it.

Ive got an 8yr old 16.1hh cob, not sure when he was gelded, but his is HHUUUUGGGEEEE! Like about 17 inches long by 2/3 inches - it goes past his hock!!!!!!!!!

Im wondering now if he was cut late ( i bout him at 5 yrs though) ????

Luckily hes not one for having it hanging out or else i may be arrested!

This post is funny and intriguing all at once! But maybe there is something to it re:hormones that regulate willy growth etc so being cut late would mean larger schlongs!
I'll bend down and have a look around the yard this weekend and get back to you!!!

I had to kenzo!! I think wednesdays are too far away from the weekend and we need the word "schlong" to cheer us up!!

Hey I'm just impressed with the spelling, I wouldn't know where start spelling that :D....but I knew exactly what you meant :o:D

I thought it was to do with 'useage'. A colt who has had a bit of fun with some mares (although perhaps not covered as such) and stallions that have covered build up the muscle more?

My gelding was not colty in the slightest, gelded at 18 months and he has a teeny willy :o

Having said that! It can't all be to do with size, he managed to bring multiple mares into season (who also stood ready to be covered by him ) including a mare who had been teased with a stallion, ran with a colt, had injections etc all to bring her into season, but 5 minutes grooming over a fence with my boy and tail was up, squirting all over the place  :p

these posts just made my day!! especially the word shlonge! Maybe its a mixture of everything, genetics hormones and useage. Hey you never know, a girls lady parts may have a 'suction' to it and stretches them out! XD the possibilities are endless
