yes they are all their weatherbys registered names.... i saw a post on new rider? forum asking for some info on king of knight but as im not a paid member i couldnt post a reply! :(
thanks for the link jacksmum... ill have a look on there :) x

If you go onto the Racing Post site:

http://www.racingpost.com/

you can type in their names in the search box and it will bring up any info on their results and hence owners etc. For example it brought up King of Music as being a Gifford horse?

Hope that helps :)

But that won't help to find out where they are will it, Angelbones? I have an ex racer and all will tell me are his results and will not say where he is? Or have I misunderstood the question?

Sorry if I have :(

Yep your right, the racing post will tell the owner when the horse was in training, but if the horse has been reitred it won't tell you the current owner, and if the OP worked on the racing yard it will just tell hr what she already knows!
court leney and vals well point to pointed in 02/03 if that helps? Both did quite well too.

Sorry, I was under the impression that the OP wanted any info at all on those horses, and on the Racing Post site it tells you who the owner / trainer is and that may well be different now to back then, and if you hover the mouse over the owner's / trainer's name it shows previous owners / trainers, hence starting to create a trail, so the OP could if she wanted contact the listed owner / trainer and get updated info..I thought that's what she wanted? Or did I misunderstand the reason for the post? Oh well, only trying to help :)

Sadly of course some of these horses may no longer around and it won't tell you that unless Weatherby's were informed :(

Another thought is that if they were rehomed and retrained it may be worth searching on the British Eventing website?

I used to look after all these from when they were in the yard... i know a few of them were claimed at the races and went on to diff trainers etc but they are all well past retiring age for racing and after finding out about a couple of them i started wondering about the others that went thru the yard... i know my old boss used to sell quite alot to a lady in kettering (im not sure if she was a dealer?) i know youmakemelaugh went on to be an eventer and im sure toulon and breathtaking view went on to be trained in ireland but as i say they are all well into retiring age and am just being curious more than anything... i know alot of people always wonder what their ex racers were like when they were in training... so if anyone knows em..... im here to help! lol ;) x

I remember seeing Ela Re race at Sedgy one day and was lead to the start in a bunge 'cos she was a bit crackers lol

Sorry not at all helpful in where they are now though!

ahh wow!!! u have welshie!!! :D thats amazing! i bloody loved that horse!! we had him from 3 years old... i worked for george prodromou, we got him from henry cecil... he ran at aintree with us, in the ascot gold cup and also won a race by 29 lengths! he had locking stifles tho which is why he started to refuse to race... we had an operation done on him to cut the ligaments in his hind legs or something to that extent but he then went off to connor dore to be trained... im so glad he is all fine and well! where abouts are you? id love to see some pics if you have any? ive got a lovely one of me and him in the winners enclosure i can scan for you if you like? x

thats been a big help tho... did you find these on the ned data base? x

Fernamber- you've made my year! Tried so hard to get pics etc of my boy! Could you pm me anything you can remember about him? Temperament etc! I will pm you tonight with an update on him! So pleased I saw this thread :)

Hi,
I jus said to my my bf about this post and read the names out to him. He said lucy tufty, bitofacitizen and ela re have all been to stud to Kayf Tara,he is stallion handler. He remembers lucy tufty as a tiny little mare.

So nice to find out how they are doing, i have recently found out how one of the first foals i worked with is. I would also love to know more about my ex-race when he was racing.

Hope you find out about the others too.
Leanne

we sent lucy and citty to kayf tara from ours! :) ela ra didnt tho as he was a gelding! :-S lol..
bumblelion ill pm you with some more stories about him... he was my baby! :D i always wanted to ring connor dore and ask if i could take him on as soon as he reitred him but its lovely to know he is in a good home :D xx

just been off the phone to my mate who i used to work with and she reeled off a ton more names she remembers from the yard too.... a fair few of them are no more but we found one thats bsja'ing now and one thats registered with bd (i never ever thought that horse would turn out to be a dressage horse)!!! lol xx

So cool that you actually managed to track one down OP :)

I'm intrigued though too. Are we all allowed to see the picture of him as well. I like looking at TBs!

lol... alot of them are from when i had my own horse in training for a while and my old ex racer i had so they are more the horses not me ;)... my brothers refer to it as my wall of fame tho! haha x
