Does any one else marestare?

Just quickly tuned into the last link which was posted and saw a cat in the stable. For a second I thought it was a very tiny foal!!! :eek: god, I must be more tired than I thought lol.
 
Watching her has just reminded me how weak us humans are,

She's there going through so much pain and the only telltale signs are a raised tail and some nodding.

We go into labour and it's gas and air, pethidine, epidural, tens machine, water birth etc etc. Horses don't get a choice!

Btw she scared the cats and they ran off!

I'm still bobbing back and forth... :) She looks like she's having a bit of a snooze at the moment...

Liberty Farm have got one due last Sunday, one last Thursday and one tomorrow... No idea which of the cam shots are which though... Stalls look quite little...

I really shouldn't have clicked on this thread... :o:D
 
I have always prided myself in the fact I have never watched any reality t.v..BB, CBB, ***** on ice etc etc et al....
But now....... ADDICTED :mad:

I think I'd want more room to pace around in for myself let alone a big beastie in labour... The one with her bum against the corner doesn't seem to have moved for ages...

The kitties at Epona seem to think that poor mare's stall is their private play pen... :)

She was aiming a few kicks at her belly but seems a bit chilled out atm... Typical when I'm watching... :rolleyes:
 
One of the Liberty mares seems to be having a lie down snooze but the one after it has been up and down a few times...

*puts more coffee on and passes around biccies*
 
Ended up falling asleep but glad I didn't miss her having it. One of the Liberty farm horses has a foal now, the blurry cam one, was that there last night and I didn't see it in the blur? or a new addition?
 
The Epona mare keeps lifting her tail up.

She was doing this all last night though. :(

Does anyone know if horses get Braxton Hicks/practise contractions? Just wondering because I always get them 24 hours before I go into labour proper. It's quite a handy warning system for me! Thought maybe mares mught go through something similar?

I got addicted to this site last year, now I'm right back on it

it makes me really want a cam hooked up in my mares stable.. and she's not even pregnant :rolleyes: :D

Could hardly see a thing on the blurry cam, so maybe it was there all along?!

They are even more addictive!! Am getting 'foalwatch' flashback watching marestare :rolleyes:

Still can't stop checking Epona tho, just hope she has a foal not another Kitty :eek:
 
According to the Due Date Diary the Liberty mare was due on the 30th... The overdue ones are hanging on in there...

Two of the stalls at Liberty seem to have had their cams switched off though...

Can't see the Epona kitties at the moment... :)
