Does anybody have a Karben (Shires) riding helmet?

I haven't had one of these. I find myself put off by any hats that come in xs, small, medium and large where (in this case) there is a 2cm range within each of the sizes. With old sizing (I'm a tiny 6 and 5/8) there is only about 1cm difference in size, which surely enables a much better fit.

I can see why it's easier for manufacturers to make fewer sizes but I can't believe it doesn't compromise safety.

One of the things I like most about my Karben hat is that there is a dial on the back which tightens the fit once it's on (like a cycle helmet?). It means I can make sure it fits tightly and comfortably every time. Perhaps this is also how they can offer fewer sizes over hats which aren't adjustable in the same way?

Edit - so sorry. This discussion is a few months old now.
