Does anybody have a shiba?

My OH and I are looking at getting a dog once we move out of our flat. We have looked at and thought about many different breeds but we both like shibas. Only thing is, there doesn’t seem to be many shiba owners in the UK and we’ve done our internet research but I like having that one on one conversation with someone who has the breed.

Does anyone on here have one or know anybody who has one?

Hi, yes I have 2. Please do your research, these are not dogs for everyone, not an easy breed to own.
Where in the country are you? We have meet ups and walks several times a year, where you could get to meet different shibas,( unfortunately not happening at the moment.)
