Due to an equine dentist over rasping my horses teeth:mad: he has been unable to eat hay for 2 years. Well, the vet came out this week and his teeth are now back to normal but now I have to re train him to eat hay!

Its been suggested the little and often approach but wondering if anybody knows any behavioral experts that might be able to help or have any other ideas.

Thanks x

Really??
I think he will remember how to eat it, cant imagine why he would forget................how strange!!

Mine had to have his front teeth cut down due to this but is totally fine now (just looks younger than he is by his teeth). Have you tried wetting it down and putting it on the floor, mabye in a paddock and shaking out the sections so he tries to graze and picks up little bits at a time - wet hay helped my boy!
