I am looking to buy the older (3 years) none changable gullet version but would like your thoughts if you have owned/ridden/seen one of these saddles. Does it put you in a good position and help you over a fence (my Devoucoux does its saved me lots but doesnt quite fit my horse). Is it a softer high quality leather or the cheaper stiffer version? Is the twist wide or narrow?

Any thought would be much appreciated!

I rode in one when I tried out the range of kentaur saddles for my little lad. Personally I didnt like it, I ended up choosing the Naxo's gel panelled one. The leather is fine but on my one the colour is fading on the straps and rubbing away slightly with constant wear, so I can only presume this would be the same on the other styles?
For help with position it does support a little, but too much for what I like but then I do prefer my flat saddles! Although it does put you in not the best position for flatwork.
The twist was not very narrow, but not wide either.

Hope this may be of some help?
