Hi, I was wondering if anyone owned a pair of these boots in a size large?

I was thinking of buying my horse a pair but I would have to get them off the internet as none of my local tackshops stock them. Before I bought a pair I was just wondering if anyone who owned a pair could tell me how large their size large is. My horse normally takes a size large in rubber over reach boots ( he is an IDxTB and he does'nt have the smallest feet!) but I have never bought over reach boots in that kind of material so i don't know if the sizing is any different.

If anyone could answer my question I would be very grateful :)

I have their wrap around bell boots for my 15hh mare - she does have relatively small feet, but in proportion to the rest of her. She has a small. (She's a small in shires rubber/velcro ones too)

So if they use a similar sizing guide then I'm guessing the sure fit would fit similarly.

thanks for your reply :)

would you say the boots are good quality (e.g is the velcro secure)

it sounds like they come up similar sizes then, I think a large will probably be ok :)

I have a pair. Mine is a 17hand exracer he is a medium in all other makes and he is in a medium in these too although i would say they are quite small really would prob go a size up they do

I have them in a large for my wb x. Fit him fine and no problems so far! I don't use them that much though as I prefer to keep them for shows.

thanks for all the replies everyone :)

A lady at my yard owned a pair in large and she let me try hers on my horse. Unfortunatley they did not come down far enough so I have decided not to buy them.

Does anyone know of any other good quality, sturdy over reach boots with strong velcro fastenings?
