Does anyone else buy things they really do not need?

I went into my local co-op today and they have some cheap books, I have brought some good reading books before but today came out with a encyclopedia of horses, and although it is interesting I only bought it as it was £4.99 (original price £12.99).
Do you buy things you don't need and for what reasons?

lol, not being able to get on ebay in my new job has saved me SO much money!

no horse needs 30 different saddlecloths and sets of bandages and 3 of every rug and 12 browbands etc......

Yes, all of the time. especially rugs and riding hats (I have about 5, all the same size, two similar designs)
If somethings reduced I have to have it!!!
I'm awful when it comes to shopping at Badders. I need to marry someone rich when I'm older.

Oh yes. For fun. For bargains. For my youngster I like buying things she might grow into, but then she grew really fast and oops lots was never even used. For things that I mean to do but don't quite get around to. I have been moving and realise I need a major tackroom clearout soon
