Yes, stupidly excited!!!! Have ordered a top hat and tails for xmas, so can't wait, wanna jump sooo much, but none of mine are gonna be jumped till xmas, its my xmas day pressie to myself to jump Flynn again!!! (now how sad is that!!! hehe)

I must admit i've never counted though, will have to look into that!

Starting to get excited a bit closer for me as I am hoping to travel out to Portugal on the 21st Feb for the CIC and CCI out there. Suddenly realised it is only just over 2 months away

It's not that long! I've got 17 weeks and 4 days (4 months 1 day/ 123 days, yes I do keep count!) until I can call the vet to see if I can ride Maiden again. Then I shall be keeping count of the days until my next goal, and to buying a new horse, and then to each and every competition/ party I take my horse to!
It will fly by!

Yes, i get VERY excited, particularly about next year as it is going to be my first season BE instead of pony club so am really really REALLY excited

Yes, as soon as Xmas has passed I'll be planning fitness regimes, when to go XC practice, when to start going to some SJ and Dressage in earnest.

At the moment I feel blue and can't be bothered, but by Jan I'll be raring to go again!!!

I havent really got that major excitment this year as im doing more other things then I used to like BSJA BD hunting (well was hunting!
frown.gif
) So eventing will just merge into that in March! But will be only doing 1 or 2 events a mth next year with BD and BSJA in between (want to get as much use as poss out of my memberships!!)

Im out of eventing mode at the moment. But as soon as Christmas has been and gone ill get majorly over excited!!!!

Feels strange not having Fiddly there to event - i know i never got to event him this year but i always had that hope that 2008 was going to be the year that we would be able to get him fixed and out doing what he did best again
frown.gif
Nevertheless im going to compete Hattie with him always on my "shoulder"

It actually stresses me out thinking how quickly its going to come as feel totally unprepared as feel a bit unmotivated. I normally perk up in Feb and enter a competition every weekend. XC schooling in Feb also really perks me up!

Arghhhhhh.....! didn't want to know that fact thanks, that leaves me only 13 weeks to enjoy my Sundays off...and to get the work done on the horsebox, find enough cash to fund the diesel costs and reg fees etc.
Oh the thought of trudging miles to and from box to score board, the white boots to wash, the bossy daughter who insists everything is done just so, the vast amounts of money to enter, no, I think I'd rather not get excited just yet thanks!!

i'm still in off mode, but getting crimbo cards now asking for help next season
laugh.gif

I'm going to start thinking about planning after crimbo, but could get very excisted if i sat and thought too long

I'm really excited too, although I'm desperately trying to save money at the moment so I can afford to do all the things I want to do with my two next season. And I've got a new project, a hunter who needs some education so he's going to go eventing too. Thankfully OH will pay for that one as it's his.

Yes! I'm loving the indoor driving season but can't wait for a proper marathon. April 18-20 is my first event outdoors next year
smile.gif

cant wait!!!
laugh.gif
:D:D

think ill be groom girl for the first 2 months or so........ though i dont mind i love grooming at events

then hopefully lil racepone newt might have decided he would like to be an event pone!
laugh.gif
then off we go YAY!! then fingers crossed come march dennis will be sound!! and he can slowly come back into work!

It would be rude not to as it's practically on our doorstep. Will you be there? I can't wait to see Godfrey in the flesh, he looks so fab in the photos you've posted.

I'm on a bit of a mission with Hector next season as he's malingered for half this season, and Ross will be 6 and ready to crack on too. Lucca (the hunter) will just be a fun one but he has a huge jump so I think he might be able to do novice quite early on (famous last words).
