i was given a bag of readigrass as the otherpersons horse didnt get on with it,i give my horse half of one of those tubs plus his haynet and feed, not ever fed this before but he seems to be doing ok on it have cut a couple of slices of hay out and supplimented with readigrass does that seem right ?

ps i am a old fashioned feeder so not really used this kind of food before

I use it instead of hay for my oldie.

He has a hay bar so I stuff the bottom quarter with some hay then fill it with Readigrass so he can eat as much as he likes.

He loves it and it certainly helps keep the weight on.

Hi

I feed it as a chaff replacer as my very fussy TB mare doesn't like chaff. She seems to enjoy it.

She only gets a couple of handfuls morning and evening mixed with her feed.

I'm on my same bag since Dec!!!!!

My mares doing great this winter, hasn't lost any condition

I bought a bag of it the other day just to give C something extra at night.

Unfortunatly she's the type who will happily tip the bucket upside down to see whats at the bottom and the stuff goes everywhere!

She does seem to like it though.

Me too! All ours love it, apart from Little Lad who is laminitic so he doesn't get any (poor thing).

Using it to help put a bit of weight on the stressy Dizzy one

She's on mats in her stable, so I sprinkle it in the areas I know the wee doesn't go and leave some in a bucket: she likes to mumble round and have a bit of a buffet thing going.
