Does anyone else have a horse with Big Ears!!

My youngster seems to have exceptionally big ears, everyone comments on them...I just say its a sign of intelligence...and they say oh really.... Ha ha

Me ! My girls are H U G E, over twice my hands breadth and I have size 7 hands ! We once tried one of those John Whittaker fly veils that you put under the bridle on her, it sat up a good 2" plus above her poll !! She fills the ears of her XL PE fly mask too. I was always told big ears = kind heart and in my girlie I like to think thats true

I do, my WB has enormous ears, infact one of the first things people say when they see him is 'gosh aren't his ears big'
Its supposed to be a sign of honesty

I used to work for an Irish dealer and he always used to say Buy a horse with big ears because it will listen to you more than a horse with small ears.

I have little ponies with little pony ears, they don't listen to me, so maybe he was right

My girl has big hairy ears - she is a thoroughbred but left untrimmed I can actually plait her ear hair Yes I have tried and succeeded She also has a donkey breed society passport. Bless her. Honest as they come though
