Hi,
I seem to be trapping a nerve in my back quite regularly at the moment and it's making life with the ponies quite hard as you can imagine! When I do it, I can barely put weight on my right leg

the pain is that intense!
Does anyone else suffer from this and if so, how do you try and get round it? It's made me get myself rather worked up when mounting as I seem to trap it when swinging my leg over and as a result my confidence is sliding as I am worried I would do some proper damage. I just don't know if there is anything I can do to help prevent it

Thanks in advance

Sounds like sciatica, which both my OH and I suffer from. best thing is to take it easy and take painkillers until it goes. just follow sensible back precautions, eg correct lifting, to try to stop it recurring.

I trapped a nerve in neck a few years ago and my physio recommended taking up yoga to strengthen my 'core' I have been doing yoga since and my back is much stronger and it is fantastic relaxation
