As title really! I do, and don't seem to have a problem with it. If anything, I really like it as it gives my ned lots of shoulder room.

I think maybe it suits me because my legs are really short so my knees don't hang over the edge of the saddle!

Does anyone have any comments on whether it would be worth me getting a jump saddle, or at least a GP, to jump the bigger tracks? (we're currently doing 90cm-1m)

Hope you all had good weekends and aren't too depressed to be back at work....

I hunt my TB in a Symonds VSD and do everything in it actually. He has a huge shoulder and it was the only saddle that fitted him. I love it - it is exactly the right size for both of us and I feel very secure in it. Not bothered that its a VSD. Have got moveable knee rolls.

We jump hedges, timber - everything in it!!!

Glad to hear it. I really feel so secure in mine. In fact, I just sold my dressage saddle as it didn't really fit me as well as the VSD.

I feel a bit out of place sometimes, not having such a forward cut saddle as other people that jump but as long as i'm not on my own!

I think as long as you feel comfortable in it them keep it! A friend of mine has a horse that the only saddle they could get to fit was a bates VSD. She does novice eventing and has never had a problem as far as im aware....

I've done small courses of about 3ft in a dressage saddle, if I were you I'd keep going with the VSD whilst it still suits you both.
