You arent being thick I was being very lazy and when I wentto answer you last nigh the forum appeared to be in Meltdown.
WE is Winergy Equilibrium. I use the condition one. I would like to spend less on hard feed but grazing is poor and he does seem to be 200% better in manner and condition since I put him on it 3 months ago.
ChicoMio, fascinating article. I always used to feed straights, and seaweed, and gradually over the years have changed and now feed stud balancers and stud mix to the broodmares. But my feed bills are getitn gridiculous so I wondered about changing back.
My only concern would be, would this diet (soaked oats, alfalfa, beet and linseed) be adequate for growing foals and youngstock. I feel that they would be missing out on certain minerals etc needed for their growth. Maybe I need to start a new thread on what you would add to that basic diet (if anything) for foals-3yos
I usually feed Suregrow (approx £13 a bag) but thought I might change to Bailkeys stud balancer as I had some Baileys vouchers to use, its basically the same and a lot of people have recommened it to me - the Baileys is £21 a bag!!!
