ever get upset thinking of their old horses/ponies? I've just been looking through some photos of my old pony Ben and I must admit I cried like a baby. I miss him so much, he's doing really well with his new owner but I'd give anything to have him back :-( He was one in a million and I was so lucky to have him. We had some amazing times together and I have only good memories of us going for long rides with my friends with a bag tied to the D rings on his saddle full of food for a picnic and how he nipped round clear round courses and gave me so much confidence.

I feel like such a baby! Just wondered if i'm the only one who does this haha

Yup i do, i lost my mare petra three years ago on the 24th october and i tear up everytime i look through my photos or watch videos of her, i miss her everyday, she was my horse of a lifetime

Daughter went to do her work experience at the vets. At the end of day 1 she came home, went to bed & cried her eyes out. I thought they must have pts a dog or something that upset her. Took her all night to blurt out that the vet she saw was the same one who used to treat her old pony before she died 9yrs ago - she had been thinking of the pony all day after she saw him & was in a right state!
