Deliberately choose the floor over their bed?

Just bought a very nice second hand bed for the dog and he's sleeping on the floor ungrateful sod

Brig has a choice of three beds, normally. He prefers the floor whilst the twins prefer the beds.

Buster always sleeps in the floor tiles and Dylan and teal choose the plastic basket with no bedding in it......they have a xl tuffies bed

My older dog likes cold, hard surfaces, when he did sleep in the house he would always take himself out to the kitchen floor and even now when he is out, he will still sleep outside, IE on the concrete slabs and not in his kennel. The wee one likes 'nesting' but he doesn't get an actual bed because he would eat it, a few old towels/fleeces on the bottom of his crate do him fine.
