Yes! One of my two Springer puppies (well, almost grown up now - nine months old!) paws the water out of the water bowl making a terrible mess everywhere! Also, I've recently cleaned out the fishpond, which is a raised pond with wooden seats around the outside edge. The puppy can see the fish now the water's clear so, as soon as they're let in the garden, she makes a beeline for the pond and splashes around like mad, leaping from one seat to another! We're waiting for her to fall in!

My sister-in-law's puppy is forever splish-splashing in her bowl. She had her first swim in a lake last week, at the age of eight months, and looks set to be a canine mermaid.

My dog was always, and continues to be, an all-out loather of water--she clears puddles as if flying over the water jump at Hickstead

Darcy is 6 months old and had her first swim at the weekend. Her technique was a little off but she loved it. She was a bit unsure of water for a while but but now she's very drawn to it. especially the deepest, muddiest, up to her armpit puddles just before she's due back in the car!

We have an old bedlington terrier, she's always been teriffied of water, and years ago we took her for a walk. There was a large pond covered in weed stuff so it was all green on top. Well.... she went to jump onto what she thought was grass and the look on her face when she hit the water was fantastic!!!! She's never been anywhere near water since, even hates a bath.

Gave my pup a bath tonight, she came back from the stables smelling to high heavenb, loves to dive in the pond - she's eight months, thinks she is a baby, and sits up like a meer cat afterwards - so cute. Trying to type this with over affectionate cat trying to wash my face.........

Our 8 month old lab starts to have a drink then 'sees' something in the bowl and tries to fish it out with huge floppy paws - result, more water on the floor than in the bowl

Mine still plays with it... When he's having a hyper moment and he wants a drink he bites the water then sticks his nose in a blows bubbles
