does anyone else think the amount you have to feed is a lot? 4 scoops a day for a 14hh new forest seems rather excessive(and expensive). Currently feeding a scoop and will increase gradually.

I feed it, but will admit I've never paid any attention to the amounts they say to feed! My 17hh TB gets one Stubbs scoop split between 2 feeds and looks and feels fantastic on it so yes I'd say 4 scoops was rather excessive for yours!!

thanks for reply. he has been on it for 3 weeks now and have yet to notice any change in him - how long did it take to work with yours? For your size horse you're meant to feed 6-7 scoops a day, eeek!

I have just started feeding my cob on A & P fast fibre as he is doing a bit more atm. The recommended feeding is one stubbs scoop then twice as much water.

It seems quite a lot quantity wise and doesn't seem to be having the effect that I was looking for so I looked at other A & P feeds (Cool and collected and Ride and relax) and they all seem to be fed in higher quantities.

Fast fibre wont do a lot for extra oomph and i have never found it to put weight on either.

I feed half a scoop per day of P&P to a 13.1hh driving pony and it helps him out a lot. Alough if i feed much more he puts on weight.
