Does anyone have a picture of a horse with sidebone?

Ok so as far as I know, a side bone is in/ on the hoof. These are a couple of pictures of my ponio who has upper and lower ringbone on his off fore and as a result got sidebone on his opposite hoof. (or so farrier/ vet say!)
Please excuse his long feet as the farrier is due on monday, but it actually lets you see what I mean easier!

Thank you for that - very interesting.

But nothing like the swelling in the pictures of my mare. Having looked it up you are right, the side bone is within the hoof but it was saying that swelling arises above the coronet band before ossilating (sp? - I have had some wine!!).

So its still a mystery then what her lump is - unless it is a windgall after all.

I am not worried though - she seems perfectly fine - its just my curiosity getting the better of me!
