Does anyone have DEAN DIBSDALL shoe their horses?

I have done- Was a straight forward mare in terms of shoeing but a bit nervy. I was pleased with his work and attitude. No idea what he is like for more complex work.

Very attractive eye candy too!!
 
Yes, I have for my old horse who had lots of problems. He did a very good job of a complex remedial case. He trained with Dan at Crendon House Farriers who shoes my friends dressage (GP) horses and (Dan) was recommended by the team Farrier. I know Dean still does a bit of work with Dan and I was very impressed with Dean's work. He's also a nice person and good with the horses.

I really enjoyed watching it, I loved Alan Carr's comments!:D TBH Dean didn't strike me as particularly camp :p Surely the producers were deliberately choosing guys who's sexuality looked ambivalent for entertainments sake!:D :D
 
:D I enjoyed it I am glad he was genuine :p I am sure the TV show people have made pretty sure he was straight they have just handed him 25 grand for the privilege you'd think they would do their research first plus if he was gay he would have got an extra 25 so what would be the point. He's a big boy now I am pretty sure he is aware of his own orientation ;)
 
Only watched the final, and have to say from the start I thought Dean & Sven were definitely Str8, and Dan and Sam were SOOOOO Gay!!!

Can't believe I got Sven wrong - my gaydar must be wonky!!
 
My best friend at uni used to have him to do her old horse!

I was so right on Sven .... was jumping round the living room screaming 'I told you so' when he came out. I hated the guy, but he played the game so so well it was good fun watching him!!

Playing it straight = one poor girl who thought she was on a dating show turns out the guys competing for her affections were not all straight (be it all rather ambiguous, game players, good actors).
She had to vote off the ones she thought were gay and if she ended up with a straight guy at the end they both won 25 grand if she picked a gay guy he got all 50 grand. Cue stereotypically gay tasks and many dodgy innuendos :cool:

Ah right- sorry don't watch at all really, just thought as it was in here it was about his work. Doesn't take a lot to confuse me!

Does anyone know if Dean and Cara stayed together after to show? Would be lovely if they did. I did feel sorry for them, thinking they were going out there to find love then finding they were really on playing it straight!
