Does anyone have HBOS ultimate reward account Mobile Insurance?

Just wondering how are they to deal with regarding a mobile phone loss claim ??? Before I start as the last insurance company i dealt with was E and L , a claim was for a lou horse , and it was a struggle !!!!

and a friend had a camera insured with them and they were even rubbish dealing with that !!!

Just wondered if anyone had good / bad stories about hbos insurance ??
I dropped my 6 week old mobile phone into the sea , while on a friends boat this weekend !!!

so will ring the tomoro and tell them but just dreading them saying , i didnt take reasonable care etc etc .

Yes your phone will be covered (providing you gave them the IMEI number for it more than 15 days ago). Just phone the number and tell them what happened. They will send you a claim form which you fill in and send along with proof of purchase of the phone (if it's a contract phone phone them and them to send you this). You also send a cheque for £30 which is the excess. The policy does cover loss. Mine got chewed by my dog and they replaced it no problem.

Thanks for that , Just wondered as dont know many people who have their insurance through them , just checking they are pleasant enough to deal with .
Sounds straight forward enough , although I dont think i have the orginal proof of purchase !!! grr , dont know if this will be a big problem , I bought the fne off my friend but she gave me all paperwork , so have to dig it out . xx
