My local Equine store had a Extravaganza the other day and there were some clippers there (as some know i have been asking for help with which clippers etc) me and mum were looking threw magazine and came across a pair of clippers which sounded perfect for nervous horses! They were light weight, no vibrate and very quiet! Perfect!! Got really excited :D

Mmmmm well tried and was really shocked!! They were turned on and were really really loud, and i knew that my boy would freak if he heard them so they were a NO!

If anyone does have this clipper, please tell me your opinion! Also are they quieter when actually clipping?? xx

i've got them and they are loud - most battery clippers are louder than mains powered ones, but i'd rather have battery and no cables to trip over. my young horse hates the noise of them - i just shove cotton wool in his ears. my other more laid back type doesn't mind them at all.

I have a pair of listers, think they are the "Neon" model. They are alot quieter than most clippers ie liveryman and are alot lighter so i find they dont make my arm ache like my older heavier pair did. personally i really rate "Lister" clippers.

I've got the Lister Liberty clippers and have the Yard Pack I think it's called with a battery and power pack. Don't find them loud at all, and one of my horses is particularly daft about noise and he stands there like a really chilled out dobbin when I clip him.

Highly recommend them, great piece of kit.

Mmmm sounds good. When we heard them on they were really loud and my boy would never let me get him near him with them running. Thanks x
