If so how generous are they, do you need to size down like with Thermatex's ?

I have one!!!!!! if anything, go up a size; they are very structured across the shoulder and over the 'jumping bump' - i bought a 5'9" for my mare (her normal size) and had to take back for a 6ft. It depends really on whether your horse is long or short in the back; my ellie is average, i would say, so in this respect, i would say go for one size bigger.

hope this helps! its a lovely rug, but a bugger to clean - all the little hairs get stuck in the fleece, can make it quite itchy!

Yes I have one. My lad is usualy a 6ft 6 so I just got one of that size and it fits him realy well. I love this rug, its realy warm and looks so smart at shows, well worth the money in my opinion, hope you win it.

I've got a Newmarket stripe one like MizElz. It's lovely thick fleece. Unlike pure wool ones, you can chuck it in the washing machine and it comes out like new. I found the sizing to be fine, i.e. what I would usually buy.
 
I had one and LOVED it!! but had bought it for a new horse and she had to go and was too small so sold it. My local tack shop said they had stopped stocking them but am so excited cuz will buy my beast one at HOYS for an xmas pressie..early one hehe
They come up small though.
