Not sure if I have posted this in the wrong place so apologies if I have....

Just wondered if anyone here has their own blog? I am just trying to figure out the blogging world and start my own but in the meantime it would be good to read other peoples so please share :)

I previously had a little blog about me and my musings but have just started a horsey blog as I am forever googling things so decided it'd be nice to share my experiences in one place and hopefully people will grow to trust my reviews and decide if a product is worth the money or not.
Only 3 posts at the moment, working on the fourth.
I hope you like it. Feedback is always welcome. x

I've been writing a blog for years now - I feel bereft if I can't write and people really seem to like the stories and the photos and my occasional provocative threads. sarahweston.co.uk

Bright bay, I just read your crystal ball post, it touched me. I loved it, I very often get the they live in the moment line drilled into me but then get confused when they contradict this by coming to the field when they see a headcollar or knowing which way is home on a hack, surely that's thinking of the future.
Good luck with the magazine deal

I have been browsing them all, love them but for some reason I cannot subscribe to them all, maybe its something I am doing wrong?

Pigeon, your photography is beautiful! Stunning, stunning pictures, I am currently trying to practice taking a decent picture with my Nikon but even photography eludes me a little right now, one thing at a time I think.

Ridefast, Cow Pony is very cute! Liked the bit about the cold shower and rolling in the mud! That's exactly what my boy does! :)

MissJessica - good idea about the reviews, it's always good to get someones opinion on a product before you buy, however it wouldn't let me subrscribe to your posts for some reason?

Brightbay - really interesting posts, it would definitely be worth publishing them into articles. I love delving into behaviour and the different reasons behind certain things, I had an equine behaviourist out for my boy this year and it helped us both so much. I am also a small animal veterinary nurse and when you keep behaviours and body language in mind , it makes the job so much easier and less dangerous.

Sarahweston - lovely photography of the new forest :) I love it down there! Reminds me of my childhood when I see those photos (we used to go there a lot). What a lovely place to live when you're a horse rider.

I have managed to set my blog up now with the help of a blogging friend, but am yet to post anything. Mine is: www.homeandhorses.co.uk it will be about my main passions - cooking, gardening and horses. Hopefully I will have something for you to read really soon. x

I keep a facebook page for my horse and write notes with competition/training reports etc as well as adding status updates and photos on a regular basis. I started it last year to keep track of our progress and also to keep some of my horse stuff away from my non horse friends (for their benefit!). It also means that people who I would not necessarily be 'fb friends' with can see what we are up to. In fact he now has more followers that are not fb friends than those that are. And quite a few in other countries as well. :)

Thanks, I thought I'd make her a page so the rest of my facebook friends didn't have to listen to me going on about her, I was getting complaints :)

I have one :)

I've neglected it since end of the season though as horse had an injury and I went through a v. bad time personally..keep meaning to start it up again

Yes, the link is in my sig. Due to family stuff I haven't been able to do much with it, but will be getting it going again in the next couple of weeks.

Yes, the link is in my sig :) it was my first attempt, don't think I did *too* badly...I wrote about my adventures as a groom in a harness racing stable, to try to give people an insight into the misconceived world of harness racing.

Next spring/summer I'll be blogging about my transition from groom to trainer with my new purchase, Missile (although groom duties will continue for the 2/3 other racehorses my OH and his dad will be training themselves) :)

Yep, mines in my signature. Got a bit rubbish at keeping it updated the last few months but have enjoyed writing it :)

I keep an online diary for myself and HippoHead. It's really helped to develop and maintain my confidence, and I love to go back a page or two and have a read of what we were up to, what challenges we faced and how we overcame them. It's not a blog as such but feel free to have a read. I don't tend to put pictures on the diary, I tend to have them on FB instead, there's a link in the diary somewhere.

Yep been keeping one since 2007. It's a load of nonsense mostly, was started as my mare is the only horse I have ever had and will never have another one when she has gone so I wanted a record of our life together.
I love going back over the years and seeing what we were doing on a particular day.
