Does anyone know a trusted, friendly farrier? Oxfordshire/Berkshire area

I give up with mine, 3 ignored messages, endless calls and a week later he refuses to contact me. We've got an old ID who's lost his shoe every week for six weeks now, the farrier in questions refuses to admit something may be wrong with the foot and is intent on hammering in shoe after shoe after shoe, shattering the already brittle hoof wall. I now have one mare with a thrown shoe and another needing a full set. I can only assume he doesn't want the business. Sorry, rant over!
Any other recommendations anyone?

I've used Karn Herbert at a previous livery yard - great farrier and very reliable. I use Dan Harman now who is also fab and came recommended by my vet.
