Bought some land from the Highways agency and am clearing another parcel to find the little treasures have dumped 100+ tonnes and covered it up with topsoil to disguise it.

I reckon they've driven in unloaded their dumper trucks and haven't disposed of it properly.

Who if anyone would want this and where can i get rid of it.

Anyone else had similar problem.

I think you might find its pretty hard to find someone who will want it, unless you know someone local that needs it for something. In offical terms it will really depend what type of aggregate it actually contains. You find that once it is excavated it is actaully classed as a waste, even the soil will be a waste, as soil that is classed as being disgarded by its holder is classed as a waste, therefore you will need to pay someone to take it away for you. I would maybe start with doing a search for you local aggragate supplier/recycler as they sometimes offer a waste collection service too.
You could also look at the T&Cs of your sale to see if you can go back to the Highways agency to get rid of it for you.

Thanks everyone.

What annoys me is that if I fly tipped tonnes and tonnes of aggregate waste I'm sure someone would come knocking on the door with a big fine in hand but because they are a government body they appear unaccountable and no-one wants to know.
