Hi, I'm new and introducing myself with a cheeky request for some help if possible... (I apologise if this should be posted somewhere else )

We bought my son's pony earlier this year and I have a slight niggle that her passport might not be right. She's listed as "Ebwgramnell Grey Pearl" however a bit of Googling (i know, i know :D) leads me to think she might be "Ebwgrannell Grey Pearl" instead. I suspect it's mostl likely just a slip of the fingers at the passport people but I'd be interested to know if anyone knows the name.

We'd like to show her but at the moment we know nothing about her other than that she was bought at a sale in the north of England by the woman who sold her to us, probably at the end of last year or the beginning of this. She's 11.2 (ish) dapple grey "Section A" mare. Her passport states her sire and dam as unrecorded but they've been handwritten on as "Penmynndd Cracker Jack" and "Llwynan Pearl". Being handwritten it could ofcourse be a load of old tosh!!! :D

If anyone knows anything or can point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful.

Thanks :)

Would agree that its Ebwgrannell, if you google her name someone was looking for her on Preloved...unless of course that was you, sadly the ad has expired. I suggest you post this over onto Saddlesoap which is a forum for mainly welsh ponies & cobs, hopefully someone on there will be able to help.
Sadly without proper papers you will just be stuck at local showing.....have you thought about contacting the WPCS, if she is originally registered with them you maybe able get a proper passport for her?

Not heard of your horses name itself but there is a stud near us that has a few Llwynan welshies and a look on there website shows they have an EBWGRANNELL mare also by PENMYNYDD CRACKER JACK so I would say you are right about the spelling but where the ebwgrannell prefix comes from i'm not sure. The stud is called Barracks Stud if you google them.

Thanks for that. I've sent an email to WPCS and signed up to Saddlesoap so hopefully I might find out something there. If anyone can suggest any other forums to try I'd be grateful.
