hi I think I was at the sale that your pony was sold at - Goresbridge Horse sales. If it is the same pony he went through the ring unsold and was still in the stables the next day. It may not be him (I can't currently remember which year) although definately the July sales as Summer holidays!! Although it was several years after my pony came out of the sales. We took a particular interest in him (not that we were there to buy - too many already) as he was a pretty colour but was quite experienced and a bit older than the rest of the ponies there - generally around 5/6/7yos.
I hope this may help although it may not be the same pony the one I remember definately had a similar name - I think!

Thank you Cruiseonamiro, I compete him in bsja senoirs up to newcomers height as although he is capable of jumping bigger i've not got the bottle to do it

Prettyhorses It could well be him as he came here via an Irish horse sale in 2005 and there's not many of his colour about , an he was also 12 at the time so its looking like it was him, And he has a home for life with me, i wouldn't swap him for the world even though he can be a right miserable old sod sometimes x

thank you elliefiz i noticed that too when i clicked on the link so searched his name and found him, I had heard through my trainer who found him for me that he'd done a fair bit in Ireland but i didn't realise quite how much, so i'm thrilled to have found this, I'm now going to attempt to find his breeders as i'd love to know what his parents where like etc x

You do realise the implications of him winning quite a bit over in ireland?

Yep been competeing him ovr here for the last 3 years without any problem, he's kept on the yard i used to run which is a riding school/showjumping centre so before we even did anything with him we had everythuing organised and sorted out so we aren't breaking any rules,
