Does anyone know what a 11.5 hands Welsh section A would weigh?

Does anyone know what a 11.5 hands Welsh section A would weigh? Need to compare weight to a full height standard Shetland. Would it be more or approx the same?

Probably around the same - although you need to check the size, as there's no such thing as 11.5hh

About 250 - 300Kgs. I would have thought a Shetland of the same height would be heavier because they are closer medium build than light. But each animal is unique.

When we got our 11hh, once slimmed down was about 250kg. Somewhere I have the weighbridge figs, will have a look for them.

My fat yearling A was 267 on the weighbridge this autumn and he was far too fat. So I’d assume an adult A should be about that? He’s about 11.1 at the moment.

My little Welshie was around 230 when he was weighed recently - he's probably around 11.1 and is 25 and has cushings so runs a little light.

Our 11.2hh Dartmoor Hill pony, so basically a Heinz 57 is meant to be around 290.
That vet said this went she saw him recently.

My full height shetland weighed 278kgs at the vets, they were quite surprised as they'd only condition scored him as 3.5 so not excessive. He is a stallion though so has a big front

My son's pony showed 297kg on the weightape when we first got her. She's 11.2hh Heinz 57. We had to strip a lot of weight off her, got her down to 227kg by the end of the winter. She's now about 240kg.

I keep her light as she's a greedy little madam and in her later teenage years.
