... know of a horse-friendly holiday cottage or B&B within a few miles of Barbury Castle on the Ridgeway?

My horse has been longlisted for the endurance Home International event taking place at Barbury Castle on 11 & 12 August. We may or may not make the final selection but meantime I've started looking for suitable accommodation for 1 or 2 horses (a friend is also up for selection) and 4 people. The difficulty is that most holiday cottages book from Saturday to Saturday and we would actually need Wed-Mon.

Can anyone help?
 
If you google 'Ridgeway Path' it should take you to the tourist info office, either Oxford or Wiltshire and that will have links. From about 6 years ago, there were only a few places along the main stretch that took horses but there might be more now.

Down Farm used to do endurance themselves it is the same people!

Don't know about people but my YO will do overnight or short stay livery in Ramsbury.
