Does anyone on here foster ponies?

I rent a piece of land with stables for next to nothing although I don't keep my horses there as the riding is rubbish. I want to keep hold of it until I retire my mare in a few years.
I'm not allowed to sublet so I was thinking about what I could do to utilise the land.
I was thinking of fostering rescue ponies from centre's who perhaps don't have enough grazing. Sort of like a half way house before being adopted. I could ensure they were handled well on a daily basis and given lots of tlc.
Does anyone else do this sort of thing???

What area are you in. Sounds like a good idea to me. Free up a space for a new case.

I'm on the border of Derbyshire/South Yorks. Don't have transport though so someone would have to be willing to bring pony/horse to me.
