I don't think there is anything wrong with using heavy wooden poles to remind a horse to pick its feet up - some horses get very blase because of the plastic poles that are around these days.
Does anyone own/know a horse that has been rapped

I think my pony has been!
I think shes been hit 2 but thats another thing lol
she h8s clipping poles and i have been tanked off with many times if she has clipped them!
however she is a very careful jumper and does her best not to hit them... we have once clipped a jump but it stayed up!!
i think its awful to do that to a horse, surely they all now how high they need to lift there legs or is it the people that do it that are the idiots??
