i dont have the high riders but i do have the sportives! and have had them for last 7 years-they are worn at least once a day sometimes twice a day for riding and are still going strong after all this time and are soooo comfy. so i rate them highly!!
I've had mine awhile but they were a replacement because the zip broke on my others. I know others who have had problems too. But they replaced them with no problem so would still recommend them.
I do and they are great, I love them, really comfy. I have had several pairs of different Mountain Horse boots and always found them all really good, and very comfortable.
i have them as my general yard boots- for mucking out/riding etc. i find that the zips do go on them and they do go baggy after a year or two but i think they are good value for money, as i really hammer mine!
I had a pair and loved them, have some leather ones at the moment but would love some for winter. I had problems with the zip too, perhaps keeping them well oiled would help, they are re-knowned for it, but i highly recommend them
Yep! Love em, wore them for work and everything but they always came up nice for comps. They come with inflatible boot trees which is nice too. A lot of people say they have issues with the zips but I never have, but then again I was ver particular about the calf size I got, no fighting to get them on! I also have to protective yard boots which are just starting to die after 5 years of heavy horse abuse and no care from me!
I've had the sportives for a good 6 to 8 years!! Fantastic boots, never needed to break them in due to the amount of freedom in the ankle area. The zips have gone on them, but with the amount of use they get it's only natural really! It cost me about £25 per boot to get a replacement zip put on by my local cobbler, so not a huge amount when each boot has only needed one replacement in that time! I ride at home in them AND they still clean up beautifully for show use!
