Tont is only 13hh, and i am rather paranoid about it

So I was wondering does anyone own or ride a 13hh or something of a similar height? :) Pictures and your height would be wonderful also :D

Thank you, Nicole :D

I have a 13hh pony that I am backing this year as he will be 3 in the Spring.

He looks tiny but I like riding ponies. I've sat on him once so far.

I'm 5'2 and weigh 7 stone (ish). I will take a pic of me sitting on him at the weekend.

I'm 5.2ft and rode my two 13.2hh veterans until last year. I now have a 17hh and will be riding my remaining 13.2hh also this year. No pics on the work Pc but i look fine on both. (maybe ride with longer stirrups on the big boy though;) )

I am 5' and ride a 13.2hh. There is a teenager on my yard who could be an inch or two taller than me and she rides a 12.2hh Dartmoor hill pony and it doesn't look weird.

Not at the moment I ride 14.1 and I'm 5ft 4 but would love something smaller - really love the look of the welsh section C - hope I'm not too big - Cooie looks beautiful

In the summer I got to help re-break a gorgeous little 13hh welshie. I am light but 5ft8 and very leggy with a tall top half too!!!

Ponies are so much more fun than horses, just wish I was smaller so I don't look so stupid!

Im 5ft 9 & 8 stone & Cooie (templedruid sauvignon) hadly knows im there, she also does marathon trials with her disabled driver with ease despite both driver & backstep being larger ladies.
really being miss being able too pop on Cooie for a ride but following drs advice on the vain hope i can ride again one day.

most ponies really are deceiving in their size/weight ratio's.

We have a 13hh sec c mare who my sister rides. She's about 5'5" and although maybe a little tall, is fine weight wise.

Photo a little dodgy as off phone but it's the most recent ridden pic I have:

Only issue we have is that she has a 15" saddle - which fits her beautifully but is a little on the small side for sister! :p

I'm about 5ft 2 or 3.

And on slightly smaller ponies.
Excuse the leaf eating!

You will be fine I did a lot of work with an 11something welsh a he carried me fine and could still leap over puddles  and different coloured grass  and his favourite thing to do was to go for a good blast. I'm 5'2 and around 8 stone so I'm sure you will be fine at the same time I was also riding a 13hh new forest who loved fast hacks. I currently own a 14.2 Connie who also carries me without any problems even my dad has hopped on for a walk about on him I will try to find some pictures for you but if you want to see my current boy I posted some videos a while back. :)

I own and ride western a 13hh grey fell mare and a black 13.2 fell mare, I am 5'2" and very fat! They carry me and a big western saddle no probs but I only ride no longer then an hour as I have an old injury. The are fine and happy with it all, doing all western manovers.

I am 5'9"....not particularly skinny, probably about 12 and a half stone, 13 stone defending on how much cake I've eaten
This is my 14 hand, very chunky traditional cob.....as you can see, he's really struggling!! :D ;)
Because he is so wide, he also takes up my leg nicely

Ignore them :D
I ride anything from about 10.2hh if you do get any nasty comments its just because they are jealous they are too tall for the little ponies because they are the most fun :D

this is me on an 11 something we had just hacked 2.5 miles and then went round the fields a few times before hacking back so we did over 5 miles that day and not at any point did he struggle, in fact he was still full of energy.

Thank you for replying, you all ride gorgeous ponies :)

Its lovely and reassuring to see people on ponies rather than 16hh+ huge things, I feel a lot better riding Tont now :D

Thank you again, Nicole :)
