Does anyone tow with a Honda CR-V?

As title! I have had a few friends say they are good cars but don't know anyone who tows a horse trailer with one, are they ok for this? Anyone know what weight they can tow and also how fuel efficient they are for general driving?

PS: I am looking a buy a 4x4 to tow a horse trailer with so any other recommendations welcome

I had these recommended as great 4x4's but looked into it and they don't have much weight, depends on what you are going to be towing of course but I would think something heavier would be safer - I ended up going for a Discovery

Don't think you'd find a trailer that you could tow with. This is a good sight for two weights for different cars http://www.uktow.com/towing capacity.asp#tab1

CRV can only tow 1500kgs max and I know from my hunt that an Ifor single trailer is 1600kgs MGW (it is this weight that has to be less than the tow weight)

I have a Jeep cherokee which i love and have used OH's Discovery which is SO easy to tow with but i don't like driving as much

My IW511 is roughly 1 ton unladen.

Plus I always think it's all very well towing up to a cars limits normally but it's when I have to drive in/out of a muddy field I want to know the car has something extra left to give me.
