I got my horse's record through from the KNHS. It doesn't look very impressive/there's not much to it, but I'd love to know what it actually means and what sort of classes he had been entered in etc.

I have put it through an online translator but it's not much help really - it's all "double dutch" to me!! (excuse the pun) :grin

What sphere is it in? I got a copy of my horses show jumping record & its was very easy to follow although it was also extremely brief!

I dont know a thing about dutch dressage but could help if its show jumping.

I think there is some dressage and some showjumping on there... It is certainly brief in my case!!

I can kind of figure out what most of it means, (dates etc) but it mentions an "L1" dressage class and then "Hoogste Stand: L1+2"; then an "M" Showjumping class with "hoogste stand M+6".

I'm mainly just wondering what these letters and numbers mean/stand for!!

Okay I can help you with the jumping levels:
B : 1,00 meter

L : 1,10 meter

M : 1,20 meter

Z : 1,30 meter

ZZ : 1,35 meter

Clear round = 2 winning points

Until 4 penalty points = 1 winning point

From 4 till 16 penalty points = 0 winning points

More than 16 penalty = -2 losing points

Fall from rider and/or horse = -2 losing points

Eliminated = -2 losing points

That should help. Sounds like your horse has jumped clears at 1m20 or at least 6 rounds with 4 faults or something like that.

IIRC, L in dressage is roughly comparable to elementary.

Just had a look at the tests for each level: Dutch tests

Looks more like L1 is more like Novice, and L2 a bit more like Elementary.
